(1) The land, buildings, equipment and structures related to power generation stations or transmission and distribution lines established with investment of more than 50 percent of the total investment by foreign individuals or organized organizations shall be owned by the Government of Nepal after the expiry of the period specified in the permit.
(2) According to sub-section (1) the property owned by the Government of Nepal may be acquired by the person who has received a prior license for generating, transmitting or distributing electricity at the price determined as per sub-section (3) and after acquiring the property, he shall enter into an agreement with the Government of Nepal and use the electricity in accordance with the said agreement. Must be produced, broadcast or distributed.
(3) The Government of Nepal shall constitute a committee of at least five persons for the purpose of price determination as per sub-section (2).
(4) After the expiry of the period specified in the operation and management license of the power generation center or transmission and distribution line established with the investment of foreign individuals or organized organizations up to 50 percent of the total investment, or without foreign investment, the person who received the previous license shall enter into an agreement with the Government of Nepal and do so in accordance with the agreement. /p>
